A Little Yard Work

The ground next to the little tree in the back yard had developed a divot and soft spot.  I peeled back the sod and put dirt underneath.  There had been an old poplar tree in that location and the rotting stump has left a void in the soil. 

It was hard, hot work but I'm glad its done.  The yard looks nicer and I've eliminated a tripping hazard.
