High House

Final day in the peaks, with a few muscle aches we climbed Whinstone Lee from Ladybower and then on to Derwent edge.  What we were not expecting were hoards of twitchers out looking for the Bearded Vulture that has been in residence for a couple of months in the peaks. Apparently blown over from central europe in a storm it has been seen a lot but we did not catch any glimpse of it all day.

We rounded of the day visiting the Old Horns pub in Bradfield - our first meal out since lockdown.  Hopefully the only thing we enjoyed was the meal and hospitality and brought nothing else out with us !!
