Shadows

I watched the National Theatre Live version of Amadeus tonight, the same production as I saw two and a half years ago. I enjoyed the opportunity to see some of the acting closer up than I did in the theatre, even though I was sitting very near the front then.

But, both in circumstance (who I wasn't with then and why) and in content (the Queen of the Night), the play has come to be weighted with quite a bit of my own personal history and it was hard to shake that off this evening.
