Hells Crabber
Wells-next-the-Sea is the perfect place to go crabbing. And they have built up a great industry around it.
You buy a "crabbing bundle" from the chip shop consisting of a bucket, line and net. That'll be 15 quid. Then you go into the butcher's for a bag of bacon rinds. A £pound. then you're ready to go. In goes the line with bait over the harbour wall and if you're lucky you pull out a crab. We were lucky and caught five. You admire them for a few minutes and then tip them back in where they queue up to be fished out again by the next family group.
All good fun and the equipment gets recycled by passing it on the the next punters who have just arrived and are about to go in the shop and buy their bundle.
After this the children are hungry so it's back into the fish shop for a few bags of chips. Feed 'em up and now we are off to the beach.
I'm not attempting an abstract challenge today so this one of Harley Davidson man off with his crabbing equipment is the post for the day. I could claim the tattoos as abstract illustrations but I dont think that would count.
