Belfast docks, 6 a.m.
Woo hoo! Entry no 50. Thanks go to Viewpoint for motivating me to check out Blipfoto. It's become a real daily routine, I'm enjoying the impetus to think about each day's sights, sounds and encounters and to decide what to capture.
This one is an experiment in using a slow shutter speed, through a rainy ferry window, to capture the murky feeling of this damp early morning arrival. All this on the Camera+ 2 app on the phone (it was way too wet and windy to go outside with the Nikon, lacking any usable weather protection at that time in the morning! This is July in N Ireland, after all!)
So this is the start of a two week trip to the Antrim coast (to be spent mostly in Glenarm, where we've stayed before). Visiting my partner Richard's family, and - I hope - getting some R and R.
