Patterns.

Not sure if this pattern would be classed as “abstract “ but I thought it made a nice shot for AT.
It is a photo of the new kitchen blind we had fitted today. I was very pleased to find a design I liked, with colours that matched our kitchen tiles. All at our local village shop. Excellent service too.
Also had a new one for the bathroom too.

Today was a day we weren’t looking forward to.
The funeral of our dear friend.
With the present restrictions his wife had great difficulty deciding the best way to go ahead.
Our crematorium would only allow 10 people inside, or 20 outside.
A chose the latter, which was definitely the right decision.
We all gathered in a semicircle round the coffin.
A. had been a member of Honley Male Voice Choir, and a recording of them singing “ Abide with Me“ played at the start, was very moving.
Followed by a short be service.
The whole experience felt much more intimate, and much better than just 10 people being spaced out inside.
Just a shame we couldn’t all meet afterwards and share memories.
