arnold

if i was taking a photo of arnold that truly reflected his heart and his character, this photo would have seen him surrounded by children. however, we were very short on time, but at least i managed to capture the big smile.

arnold is another person who i first met when we were living at kaniki bible college in 2010. we thought he was a little strange as all he talked about was table tennis! now i know more about arnold i know that he was an amazing tennis coach at a local community centre where he not only taught table tennis, but was an incredible children's worker. i don't think i've met many people who are more gifted than arnold when it comes to working with children and young people. they flock to him and he is amazing at caring for them, encouraging them and teaching them. such an amazing heart.

sadly i won't be here for his wedding in july but his fiancé has certainly got herself a good one!



(i'm taking a break from my normal blipping routine and from now until i leave i will be posting portraits of the people that i love here in zambia. i might put them all together at the end to make a mammoth picture to hang on my wall, but mostly they will stay here on blip so i can remember these lovely people.)
