Leaf Cutting
The leaf cutter bee has been in business again. Every year we have this pattern that appears on the leaves of the wisteria. We usually see the bee in action and watch it going in to a hole on a log'. We have a stack of logs underneath the kitchen window at the back of the house ready for winter. If we notice where the bee is heading with the bits of leaf to line its nest, we isolate the log so that it doesn't go on the fire! It could, though, be heading somewhere else with its booty.
Camera Club coffee morning earlier which was great fun and good to chat with some members. Later on J and I went to the allotment and picked lots of veg - it's always good to pick-your-own and then eat it!
