Sandhurst Memorial Park Balancing Pond

I last walked round this area soon after COVID-19 Lockdown started as part of my daily exercise together with a necessary trip to the nearby supermarket.  Repeating the exercise today, I noted far more people (and traffic) around, but it was good to see people clearly keeping up with the exercise regime.

The Balancing Pond is owned by Thames Water and is used for the temporary storage of excess storm water after periods of heavy rainfall. It is also very popular with the wildlife (I have even seen a King Fisher there).
