The Big Stone

Had a day off today and so i took a walk along the back road from Largs to Skelmorlie. The kids were at school but this is a favourite trip which my four year old daughter loves.

She has grown out of it a bit now, but she used to have names for all the things you would see on the way. there is a dog that always sits in the window of one house and another has a peacock. However this is the first thing on the list which she calls the big stone. its actually a tree stump but we never had the heart to tell her.

The sheep seem to like it too. In the background you can see over to Bute and the Cowal penninsula.
