Peacock butterfly

I found the butterfly on the shelf in the shed. I wasn’t sure what to do so I picked it up gently by its closed wings and put it outside. I’ve just been out and it’s gone so hopefully it’s ok. 
I’m going to try making a no added sugar fruit cake this afternoon so I hope it turns out ok.
