Plane to sea!

I'd never been up Beinn Lora before, at Benderloch, so we three did the lower circuit where you get good views over the coast, up and down.

This direction looks down on the caravan site and behind, the runway at Connel, Oban's airport. They used to say that the runway was long enough to land Concorde, should she decide to visit. She never did, unfortunately, though a number of other interesting aircraft have landed here and we had a wonderful air show some years ago.
