Looking towards Wales
We met up with our friends Tony and Gail to do a 7 mile walk from Thurstaston today. As is usually the case the distance is longer than it says in the book and Tony clocked it at 8 miles. Having said that it was an easy walk anyway and it was good to meet up with them having only spoken via FaceTime since March.
This photo was taken from just outside Thurstaston looking over the Dee Estuary to North Wales. The land jutting out is the Point of Air with the lighthouse at the end and in the far distance you can just make out the Great Orme at Llandudno. When we got to the top of Thurstaston Hill the Great Orme was clearer and it was also possible to make out Anglesey which is a fair distance away.
