Room with a view

Late arrival for a few days peace, views, beaches landscapes and fresh air in Assynt. New digs this year.

Our views over to Lewis were out of this world, as were the antlered red deer who jumped into the garden at dusk but scarpered if they got wind of us. We were all so tired and weary from lockdown, so as the kids explored the hidden bay in the gloamin', I just sank into the sofa and drank in that view as the light slowly faded.
