Requires patience

In the centre of this blip is the kingfishers perch which he/she seems to favour. I think the way to get a better focussed blip - with the kingfisher, is to sit on the riverbank with the camera focussed on this spot ready to blip at the right moment, which could take several hours.
Today was not the right time, the morning taken up with coffee (an americano followed by an excellent flat white) which made me feel positively  wired (in a good way). The company was great too, lovely to catch up with I and get the gossip. And the afternoon passed quickly reading Kirsty Wark's second novel and a run.
