Shelly Beach Rock Pool

Today was one of those winter’s days where the sky and the sea seem to merge. We walked from South Cronulla beach along the coast to Bass and Flinders Point, past the rock pool at Shelly Beach. Apparently the pool was favoured by nuns. There used to be a convent nearby.

I like the pavilion in the extra. There’s a similar one at Oak Park, the next ocean pool along.
