Flower Friday Backblip

Another busy day in rehab. Hubby came to visit me after my training sessions had finished for the day. Unfortunately, we had thunderstorms and then steady rain for most of the afternoon. Visitors are restricted from entering the building but there is no problem in the open air. There Is no shelter outside apart from the sun umbrellas (which were down) at the cafe so we drove into the town to see what was there. Patients are not allowed to visit restaurants or hotels so we ended up having a chat in the car park for a few minutes before Hubby drove home again. Fortunately it is only 40 minutes from home.
The flower is from the Linden tree which is native to Europe. You usually smell it before you see it as the pretty little flowers have a divine heady perfume. The extra show more detail of the flower. The tree was swarming with bees, hoverflies and all sorts of other flying insects. I love this tree also because the flowers remind me of Eucalypt blossom.
