The Russian Church

After my yoga class today, popped up the hill to take a photo of the beautiful Russian church - some brightness on a dull day in Geneva.

Apparently, Russians first started coming to Geneva in the 19th century. In 1859, the tolerant authorities of Geneva allowed the growing Russian Orthodox population to build a church.
