LD 124 Modern version

When I saw this today I immediately thought of it as a modern version of the sword in the stone.

Though the chainsaw in the tree  doesn't sound nearly so poetic, and proved to be considerably easier to remove (thought though it did take a little time and quite a bit of thought).
