Getting There

Still get a shock when we open up and let the light in after the worst heat of the day and I look through and see this - tidiness! cleanliness! a tiled floor! Not finished arranging, but I can now access more of my kitchen stuff. So good. 

Got Ermelinda and Cecílio, and the dogs, coming for dinner around nineish, so Blipping early, as don't want to be hoping they leave so I can Blip before midnight.

Made Vichyssoise, which is chilling in the fridge, and Mike has made bread, which is cooling on the rack. Must go lay the table outside now it's down to "only" 37°C.
