July in Yorkshire!

I hadn't really thought about how this photo highlights the confusion July is experiencing about the season of summer...until I uploaded it!!

The morning was filled with torrential rain showers as I popped into Halifax to get a few bits and pieces. It was very quiet in the town centre but everybody was wearing masks. Strange really...but a sight we will become more familiar with as time goes on.

The weather picked up this afternoon, remaining dry and cloudy...and the wind wasn't too nippy either. Dad and I headed off on a stroll starting up at Blackstone Edge, dropping down to the canal near Littleborough and then back up high. Great, great views and fun! :-)
