Water garden

I had booked to take Mum to the Longstock Water Garden so the weather forecast was disappointing. Our time slot was 1-3pm so we got there on time so as to try to dodge the rain. It was sprinkling a bit to start with but wasn’t too bad. The garden is beautiful and very serene. We walked the loop round the main area and decided to go round again when the rain started to get heavier. We took a short cut back to the car. We stopped off at the nursery and farm shop and picked up a few goodies. It was our first time with masks on since they are now compulsory in shops. Heavy rain and spray made the drive back challenging. We stopped at a drive through Starbucks - not recommended in the rain as I got soaked dealing with the order and payment with my window down!!! Oh well, it was my first Mocha since March and it did taste good!
