Setting sunflower...

Now that I have photographed the last of the dying flowers, David can finally bin them!  :-))

At the start of lockdown we stopped using the agency support workers are part of Alan's support team, as they were also providing community support and we felt it was too big a risk.  We have really missed them, especially Christine and Ally who have become like family to us.  The Agency contacted us the other day to advise they have now introduced covid testing for all staff where they can be tested before each shift, so we feel reassured enough to have them start again, and today Ally was confirmed on the rota in early August and Christine later in the month.  

We are all very happy about that, especially Alan, and it made me smile to see my blip from four years ago today.  He's so excited about their return.  I told him they won't recognise him with long hair.  He's still not letting me cut it!

A day of painting and more planning.  A visit from Step dad John and Norma now in the diary.  Something else to look forward to :-))
