Day One

After an early breakfast my brother drove me to Land's End for the start. I was very nervous but glad to get going after all of the preparation.
At Marazion I approached a man who was taking shots of the bay to ask if he would take a photo of me with St Michael's Mount in the background (my selfie skills were in their infancy), he looked at me very strangely and said in a German accent 'Why would I want to take a picture of you?' I held out my camera and it dawned on him what I meant. You had to be there really!
