Japanese Anemone
After a busy week it was good to have a quiet day spent doing some much needed chores in the house and garden. I didn't think about taking my camera out until the evening, when I spotted these beautiful Japanese Anemones, beaded with raindrops. They originally came from Molly's garden in Spalding and have taken a few years to settle in. This year they have really come into their own and provide a beautiful touch of colour in the late summer garden, contrasting nicely with the pure white Japanese anemones that we've had for many years. A lovely way to remember her.
