Deluge and wet dogs

It has been lashing all day today.  I haven't left the house at all except to take the bins out and to accompany the hounds on ablutions.   Maggy is eating pretty well but is still not quite right so I will be ringing the vet tomorrow and hopefully my concerns will be dismissed.

These crazy hounds kept going out to look at the waterfall coming down the garden back steps.  Each time they came in I towelled them off but they would go outside again.  I gave up and left them be.  So here they are getting told off by me for going out in the wet yet again.   We have had 130mm since 9am and it started raining before then.  I hope we don't float away.
