Spring? I don't think so

There are lots of signs of the oncoming of spring, but I think the weather thinks otherwise, with icy weather and cold winds, I think we're still in the grips of winter. Still I thought I'd join the optimistic throng and publish this bud sniffing the air (through rose tinted glasses), and if it has any sense snuggling back into its pod for a week or so. Interestingly I published a pic of the same bush in January 2012, and it was much further along, we obviously are having a harder winter than last year.

Later we went to Barn Antiques looking for an armchair. We saw one or two Edwardian chairs that we quite liked, but are undecided as to which one. Here's one of the chairs we're considering.
