Bonjour
An early start to walk up to the Chateau, picking up a croissant en route. It was a little cloudy but the sky was still full of hot air balloons, though the views weren’t as spectacular as they have been.
The rest of the day was spent cycling up and down hills: creeping up then burning through brake pads on the way down. Lots of fun and I sure am grateful for the training routes over the Shropshire Hills.
And afternoon by the pool, ploughing through books.
So far this holiday is everything I was hoping for.
