Caught by the wave.

This morning i went to put a cake in the oven and it would not reach it's temperature.it has been playing up of late plus we have had it a long time.so thought it is time to buy a new one.also a new integrated fridge that has been freezing up of late plus it is 30 years old so i can't complain had good service with both.i tried to bake the cake in the combination microwave well it came out very dry so it ended up in the bin.i have put the chicken breast's in the slow cooker with leeks and a sauce for our evening meal.i am glad i wasn't going to do a roast.we went for local walk this afternoon above the beach to Highburrow.this chap was fishing from the beach.
