Rudbeckia " Teddy Bear"

This plant was given to me by a friend a while back, and initially was a target for slugs and snails. After a generous helping of pellets the predators were seen off and the first flower has appeared.  Despite the forecast of a good day, it has been mostly overcast with a chilly breeze and just rare glimpses of the sun. All down hill for tomorrow so perhaps we will look back and realise, by comparison, that today was a good one?
