Ewden Reservoir

A nice walk around Ewden Reservoir this morning from Glen Howe car park. The sky was dark and threatening at times but it remained dry and a pleasant temperature for walking. The water in the reservoir is very low exposing the dam and overflow run-offs more than normal. The seeds on the grasses and wildflowers are becoming more prominent. The extra photo is the seeds on what I think is wild fennel - it certainly had a strong aniseed scent.
