Monifieth Beach and windsurfers

A lovely sunny day with a shower and very strong breeze

A lovely Worship at Home Service in the morning and then we went out for a long walk. Broughty Ferry to Monifieth with a strong breeze behind us, although plastic macs had to come out for a shower. Lunch on a bench beside the Bay Diner. Walked back to Broughty with a strong wind in our face, although it was warm. Total distance was 7.00 miles taking me over last month’s total, leaving 8 miles to meet my target for July.

On the photo, there aren’t dirty marks - they are the sails of windsurfers. There were many of them, travelling along the water just offshore.

Home in time to watch a nail biting final League match against Leicester, either whom could qualify for a place in the Champions League. Suffice to say, I was a happy bunny by the end.
