Brockholes

Continuing our habit of weekend walks sans dogs, today was Brockholes. A really nice couple of hours, covering a good few miles & seeing loads of birds including Kestrels, Sand Martens, herons & cormorants.
Unfortunately the ever present drone of the M6 became a bit overbearing for me.
Then it was a day of a making a huge batch of slow cooked pasta sauce for the freezer, baking Rye bread & walking the dogs in the woods.
A rather lovely Sunday.
