Wildflowers ...

I now have cornflowers in my wildflower patch and very pretty they are too.

We also sampled our first new potatoes from the garden and very tasty they were too. 

Our attempt to head up Blath Bhalg, a smallish local hill, with A&M were thwarted. We had walked about a mile when we were met by a stalker (of deer) who explained to us that deer stalking was taking place and it would be appreciated if you we didn't continue, to which we agreed. 

We were then going to go for a walk on the other side of the glen but the heavens opened so we decided to regroup next week.  

This is not the first time that we have been thwarted by Blath Bhalg.
