Abbotsford

The home of Sir Walter Scott. I have never visited the house - there hasn't been a wet enough day to need to do that - but I've walked past it along the Tweed umpteen times. This view is from the cafe where JP and I had a socially distanced and contact-free lunch before ambling along the river and back. I then went back to J's where we had tea and cake on the patio, which was more or less normal. Altogether it wasn't too vastly different from pre-lockdown which was very welcome.
