Sole Occupancy

I spent quite a bit of time in the garden today- some gardening but mostly just sitting and enjoying the pleasant weather. Finally a couple of butterflies passing through: a red admiral and a comma. It augurs well for the next fine spell. Pond watching is a lovely calming pastime. The newts have departed and apart from the pond skaters and other invertebrates, the only remaining resident seems to be this frog.
