In between the showers

Actually they were more like downpours. This shot was taken in the”garden” of the guesthouse where we are staying.

 We did think about donning our waterproofs, boots, poles etc and heading off for a bush walk, but quite honestly the thought lasted for possibly just a minute as the wind howled and the rain fell.

Thank goodness we came with plenty of books and my kindle. I am currently reading “ Victory in the Kitchen” by Annie Grey. I heard the author on a History podcast and found her enthusiasm and Knowledge fascinating.
