quiet morning

my friends moved into this new house. they have a breakfast nook in their kitchen which looks out to this tree. it is stunning. i spent the morning by myself. i made some tea and sat in this little nook, window open, smelling spring and sunshine. i didnt read or journal or anything. i just sat. soaking up the peace and calm.
