Mini Meadow in the Dreich

Well at least the garden and allotment will be well watered today!

Tony has been busy this morning making apple pies and jam tarts.  He's made me some with my blackcurrant jam so I guess I will have to eat them!  I've been quite lazy, catching up with some comments and tidying up e-mails etc.

I enjoyed the eagerly anticipated first episode of Andrew Davies' 'A Suitable Boy' last night.  Lata's mother wasn't quite as I had pictured her, but I'm sure she will grow on me.  The colours and business and scents and opulence/poverty of 50's India were well captured I thought, against a backdrop of developing troubles.

My blip is of a soggy mini meadow jungle and the chicory triffids.
