A handsome Stag.

The weather this morning was not ideal for photography. I went to the park anyway as I needed my daily fix.  I had a fright when this lovely stag popped up out of the bracken next to the path I was on - he was fairly close to me as you can see from my camera settings. Fortunately these boys are quite docile at this time of the year. Even so I did not hang about once I had my photo.
Today I  discovered that my jacket is not waterproof. Happily I had rain covers for my bike panniers and camera bag.
