CyclopsJnr went to holiday club at school this morning!!!!!! The first time since mid March family Cyclops has had any childcare/ CyclopsJnr has been able to play with other children. There was a one-in-one-out drop off and collection but otherwise no other restrictions that the kids would notice. He's assigned to an age 5-6 bubble and he says most of the activities were in the squash court. CyclopsJnr got back involved with no issue as if no time had passed. We've signed him up for three weeks of mornings, then it'll (fingers crossed) be back to school.

It was an extremely wet day. 

CyclopsJnr asked to try origami, he'd seen it on TV. We googled easy origami and followed some YouTube videos. We did ok with a fox, found a pterodactyl very hard, and CyclopsJnr did a cat face by himself.

We had also seen a local poster competition to win some bike accessories, so a rainy day seemed a good time to work on that. The theme was to suggest something to make living in North Edinburgh better. We brainstormed some ideas and ended up going with bike racks on buses. CyclopsJnr is not into drawing so I printed out a photo of him with a local bus then he took it from there. He does like glueing and using the guillotine.
