Happy Chef
This is a backblip from yesterday.
Becky and Darrin invited us over for a barbecue yesterday evening. They prepared a yummy and very filling dinner. Becky made homemade macaroni and cheese and Caprese salad (with basil from her garden) and Darrin barbecued baby back ribs. We also quickly polished off a bottle of the best Cabernet (Caymus) I've ever tasted. What a treat!
After stuffing ourselves, the boys built a fire in the outdoor fireplace and we sat around it and talked and laughed and just enjoyed being together. Then, Becky asked who wanted desert - there's always room for a decadent desert, right? She went inside and returned with warm pineapple upside-down cake and vanilla ice cream. More wood was added to the fire and we didn't leave until after 10 PM. We are grateful to B & D for the wonderful time we had! :-))
