Drooping Wet

What madness today, a day of constant rain? A St Bernard dog is rescued by the Mountain Rescue Team in the Lake District. And then we hear a cat has tested positive for covid. Meanwhile Belgium, which has had one of the worst 'health outcomes’ (euphemism) is threatening to return to lockdown. And Germany has registered an average of over 500 new cases a day for a week now which is  causing bit of a flap. That three week 'flattening the curve’ seems a long time ago, though headline numbers in Scotland are vanishingly small. 
Right, enough recording that for posterity; I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to find out from BT Business why the FCYC bills had jumped £10 a week, and there were emails to the lawyer due to my upcoming change of circumstances. 
And I was supposed to go sailing with McC the younger but called off due to the incessant rain and forecasted high winds in the evening and felt very guilty and less of a person for doing so. Like that poor St Bernard, will I ever be able to hold my head up in the hardy mariners’ pub again?
