A day with Ruby

We would normally pick Ruby up after school today, but a call from Daddy soon changed that, Mummy had already left for school where she teaches leaving Daddy holding the fort, Ruby soon won the day complaining of a headache and not feeling well, all a ruse we feel, she is however, in her defence missing her brother Deklan who left for his year 7 school camp yesterday, they are very close and Ruby is not used to being at school without him, she is dreading next year when he moves on to high school, she doesn't handle seperation well at this age, i feel it ill come later for Ruby, she will get used to doing things on her own. 
On the up-side we had a great day, here she is on our walk with Milo at the marina, always a relief for us when she is not really sick at all.
