Small apples

So far these apples have survived inquisitive fingers! Please keep your fingers crossed that they survive a bit longer! 

Last autumn we left the house for a few days.. our pear tree was full of nearly ready pears when we left. Upon our return half of the pears had disappeared, we were bemused to say the least. That night (after our return) the rest of the pears disappeared. We can only assume that it was a muntjac deer. This year there are no young pears to be seen!
