Bossons glacier

An early walk alongside the glacier. So lovely to feel cool air for a while. In 1950 and 1966, two Air India flights crashed in to Mont Blanc, and various remains were found on the Bossons glacier. Although the official memorial to the dead is some distance away, we found this informal memorial today. A bit of a scramble to get to it, but well worth it. Back home to the heat. And it’s only going to get hotter!
