The Perfect Gift

This is ridiculous. I have been working in Sutherland today; up Loch Ness side, Culnakirk, Dingwall, over The Struy, fine views over the Dornoch Firth, Bonar Bridge and on to Invershin where the site was but not a blip was taken such was the pressure of time. Anyone who knows this route would concur that it is a scenic avenue through the Highlands with limitless photo opportunities.

The job on site was a desperately frustrating one. It was time consuming with little to show for it though the man in charge seemed very pleased with our help.
Funny, we were able to briefly share recent laminate flooring stories with one another. He reflected grimly on the awkward corners and cuts but concluded it looked fine once it was down. (I haven't spoken to anyone yet who said it was easy)

It has been mentioned here already but our hall remains to be done but I have the benefit of the first room experience

Anyway for days and months such as this I have a calendar with the perfect gift, an extra day in February. You can't buy these in the shops.

Can you tell I'm tired and bereft of inspiration?
