Fairy convenience

Megan and I go to Loch Ore Meadows. It’s windy and sunny and busy. There’s nobody the loch and not many folk on the mountain bike trails, but plenty of people walking and sliding and shouting.

Fairy Glen looks like a multi year primary school project. Dozens of trees have hand made doors on them, from prosaic to fanciful. Some open while others are resolutely locked shut.

Claire is called out twice today. Once this afternoon, just as she was about to fly the kite on the beach with Megan. Then after trees, as we were settling down to watch Sometimes A Great Notion. This second shout was to two separate incidents. In all cases, her crew was stood down before arriving on the scene.
