Sunday: Lillooet Vineyards

We left Lytton early this morning and took the long way home.  Instead of heading straight back through the Fraser Canyon (stunningly beautiful, but a bit more familiar to us) we headed up through Lillooet and back down through Pemberton.  It took a couple of hours longer but was definitely worth it.

It’s a fantastic drive - past lakes and through mountains and, as seen here, vineyards.  We stopped off on Lillooet for breakfast, a quiet little town.  

Once we got home we stopped for a nice thirst quenching beer in Darby’s and then went home to join a couple of friends in a surprise zoom call for Pam’s birthday.
