Coonabarabran
Today we drove from Mudgee to Coonabarabran. It took about 2.5 hours and I'm pleased that for most of the journey we had the road to ourselves, in our direction. The two pubs in the photo aren't the only ones in this town of about 2,500 population, and all look like they've seen better days. Tomorrow we will interface with nature in the Warrumbungle National Park. It's an area of former volcanic activity so includes some spectacular formations including dykes, plugs and domes. There's even a Bread Knife!
Thanks for hosting Freyjad. Stay well all.
